Director
Nick Stapley MBA MSc has been at the forefront of the Scottish hydrogen industry since transitioning from a ten-year career in the oil and gas sector in 2017.
His career in hydrogen has been varied, from advancing the commercialisation of small-scale hydrogen technology in European funded initiatives in a high-growth SME, and pursuing combined offshore wind and hydrogen projects, to spearheading the development of Scotland’s largest HAR2-supported green hydrogen production project for RWE within the country’s key industrial cluster.
Nick has built up extensive commercial project experience across the UK and has fostered strong relationships with policy makers, regulators, technology developers, and fellow project leaders. Strongly committed to driving the decarbonisation of energy systems, Nick focuses and leads on delivering practical and pragmatic green hydrogen solutions.
