Michael Seaman CEng MIET is a Chartered Engineer and Senior Project Manager with over 18 years of experience in the energy sector. His career began in oil and gas, delivering complex capital projects and turnaround programmes at major operators including BP, INEOS, and ExxonMobil.
Today, Michael leads the development of a 3GW green hydrogen project at Statera Energy, steering it from concept through to Final Investment Decision (FID). His expertise spans FEED and EPC delivery, electrolyser technologies, and government and regulatory engagement. He has successfully secured government funding, including through the DESNZ Net Zero Hydrogen Fund.
Having held executive-level roles in high-growth energy startups, Michael combines deep technical knowledge across hydrogen, renewables, and infrastructure with strategic leadership. He is passionate about advancing Scotland’s hydrogen economy through innovation, collaboration, and scalable clean energy solutions.
