Hydrogen Scotland is pleased to announce the launch of nominations for the inaugural Hydrogen Young Professional Award, to be presented at the 21st Annual Conference in 2025. This award seeks to formally recognise the exceptional contributions of a young professional whose innovation, dedication, and passion exemplify the emerging talent shaping the future of hydrogen in Scotland.
If you’re under 35 and contributing to the growth of the hydrogen sector, we want to hear from you!
The judges will be looking for an individual who has shown passion, dedication and drive to progress the hydrogen sector.
Please provide the following as a PDF document:
- Career Experience Statement (250–500 words):
Describe a project, technology development, or initiative—either professionally or through community work—where you led the initiative or played a key role in its success. - Vision Statement (250–500 words):
Share your outlook on the future of hydrogen and your aspirations for personal and professional growth in the sector. - Your CV
- A colleague’s endorsement
Whether you’re working in a start-up, university, SME, or large organisation, if your efforts are helping move hydrogen forward in Scotland, we encourage you to apply. You can self-nominate, and we welcome nominations from employers to recognise exceptional young individuals.

- Award Presentation: Tuesday, 28th October 2025
Hydrogen Scotland Conference, Glasgow - Prize: One-year membership to Hydrogen Scotland (2025–2026) and recognition at the awards ceremony
