SUMMARY:UCL Hydrogen Symposium
DESCRIPTION:Hydrogen Scotland member University College London (UCL) invites you to attend their UCL Hydrogen Symposium in London on Thursday 19th June for a day of insightful discussions\, engaging workshops\, and valuable networking opportunities.\n\n\n\nThis free to attend event will focus on the future of hydrogen technology and is intended for both academic and industrial hydrogen researchers. The agenda is designed to foster collaboration\, share knowledge\, and explore the latest advancements in the field. \n\n\n\nAs part of this symposium the UCL Electrochemical Innovation Lab is running three specialised workshops hosted by UCL and Scribner\, a leading developer of high-quality instrumentation and software for the electrochemical research and development (R&D) community: \n\n\n\n-Workshop 1 – Fuel Cell Testing – Explore the latest techniques and tools for evaluating fuel cell performance. \n\n\n\n-Workshop 2 – Electrolyser Testing – Gain hands-on experience with electrolyser testing and analytical methods. \n\n\n\n-Workshop 3 – X-Ray CT Facilities – Discover how X-Ray Computed Tomography (CT) can be used to characterise electrochemical systems at a detailed level. \n\n\n\nThis symposium will be an opportunity to deepen your understanding of hydrogen technology and connect with experts in the field. \n\n\n\nLearn more and register here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ucl-hydrogen-symposium-tickets-1280551386669

SUMMARY:EU Hydrogen Valley Days 2025
DESCRIPTION:The second edition of the EU Hydrogen Valley Days takes place on 24-25 June 2025 in Brussels\, themed ‘Hydrogen Valleys: Driving Europe’s Competitiveness’ co-organised by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership and the European Commission.\n\n\n\nThe two-day programme will include keynote speeches\, dedicated sessions on the success stories and lessons learned from advanced Hydrogen Valley projects and insights into key challenges such as permitting\, licensing\, and skills development.  \n\n\n\nThe EU Hydrogen Valley Days 2025 will gather industry leaders\, policymakers\, and stakeholders committed to advancing Europe’s hydrogen economy. Explore pioneering hydrogen projects and discover opportunities for growth\, innovation\, and collaboration. \n\n\n\nBuilding on the successful efforts of the Clean Hydrogen JU\, which has already supported over 20 hydrogen valleys across Europe\, the new H2 Valleys Facility will accelerate the creation of additional hydrogen valleys by providing technical\, financial\, and legal Project Development Assistance (PDA)\, guiding projects from the pre-feasibility stage through to final investment decisions. \n\n\n\nDiscussions will further focus on lead markets in mobility and industry\, and address the crucial topic of financing hydrogen projects. \n\n\n\nThis event is free to attend and expected to be full\, pre-register for your place here.

SUMMARY:Building confidence to accelerate hydrogen adoption
DESCRIPTION:Confidence is key to being able to adopt and expand the use of Hydrogen and hydrogen-derived fuels to meet Net Zero goals. \n\n\n\nWhether it’s for a project\, supply chain or users\, multiple stakeholders need confidence to be able to invest\, progress or demonstrate compliance for these goals to be realised. This Teams webinar on Monday 30th June from 13:00-14:00 BST with James Steven\, Senior Principal Engineer at DNV\, will explore the different areas where confidence needs to be built across the different phases of the supply chain\, projects and users of low carbon fuels. \n\n\n\nLooking at the different stakeholders typically involved\, James will also explore options to build confidence based on examples of challenges from global activities and how these challenges can be overcome. The presentation will be followed by audience Q&A. \n\n\n\nRegister here: https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/6e28123a-bdd2-4f0c-ae95-4b7bb6e07724@ac38fa5a-674b-4c32-810a-1aba0bd61a31
